Coronavirus Information

The health of our guests, tour guides, tour partners and community is our top priority here at Maine Foodie Tours/Maine History Tours.   We will continue operating history tours, culinary walking tours and private tours as we are able within our state’s parameters.  The State of Maine does require masks be worn outside at all times.

To keep stress to a minimum, please note:

We are currently welcoming All Mainers and guests visiting from New Hampshire and Vermont without testing.  Guests from all other states are welcome provided that guests:

A) Quarantine for 10 days upon arrival OR

B) Conduct a Covid-19 test in your own state within 72 hours of arrival to Maine and carry proof of your results to show upon check in.  (This is also required at all lodging facilities now.)

Our culinary walking tours will be a combination of inside dining with social distancing (separate parties at separate tables), outdoor dining and some grab & go. Our maximum group size is 8 people at this time.  The itinerary for this tour will change as needed by our restaurant partners.

Our history tours will be conducted entirely outside with up to 10 guests where all may remain socially distant along the route.

  • Masks are required for all tours.
  • Social distancing is practiced amongst different parties
  • If you purchase tour tickets now, please note that there may be last-minute changes to our tour descriptions.
  • We HIGHLY recommend the purchase of our “life happens” tour insurance at a cost of $5.99 per ticket for ALL circumstances and occasions for public tours. This allows you to cancel your tickets up to 24 hours prior to the start time of the tour and receive a refund for the cost of the tickets, minus the booking fee and insurance itself.

As a Maine business, supporting other small businesses within our state, we remain grateful for your interest in joining us this season. We wish you much health and happiness!

Best wishes,

The team at Maine Foodie Tours
