Coronavirus Information

The health of our guests, tour guides, tour partners and community is our top priority here at Maine Foodie Tours/Maine History Tours.   We will continue operating history tours, culinary walking tours and private tours as we are able within our state’s parameters.

Face coverings are still required for indoor public settings, and there are no changes to Maine’s physical distancing requirements at this time.

Visitors from ALL states are now welcome!  Effective May 1, 2021, all states are now exempt from Maine’s COVID-19 travel requirements.

Our culinary walking tours will be a combination of inside dining with social distancing (separate parties at separate tables), outdoor dining and some grab & go. We are limiting the size of our tours so all can feel comfortable socially distanced.  The itinerary for this tour will change as needed by our restaurant partners.

Our history tours will be conducted entirely outside where all may remain socially distant along the route.

  • Masks are required for areas that are congested.
  • Social distancing is practiced amongst different parties
  • If you purchase tour tickets now, please note that there may be last-minute changes to our tour descriptions.
  • We HIGHLY recommend the purchase of our “life happens” tour insurance at a cost of $5.99 per ticket for ALL circumstances and occasions for public tours. This allows you to cancel your tickets up to 24 hours prior to the start time of the tour and receive a refund for the cost of the tickets, minus the booking fee and insurance itself.

As a Maine business, supporting other small businesses within our state, we remain grateful for your interest in joining us this season. We wish you much health and happiness!

Best wishes,

The team at Maine Foodie Tours
